Boston Mountain Fox Trotters is located in the Ozark Mountains on the highest point called Boston Mountain.
J.W. and Andrew Hendrix are the owners and trainers of Boston Mountain Fox Trotters. They raise and break registered Missouri Fox Trotters. Our mares, stallions, foals, and horses for sale have bloodlines with the very best.
Our mares are own daughters of Missouri Traveler E., Missouri Cassey Jones, Prince Jester, Outlaw's Patriot, Missouri Rambler E., Sun Dust E., Zane's Bossman and Touch Of Perfection. They are granddaughters of Zane Grey, Lady Anne, Missouri Traveler E., Missouri Red Wing, Giles Hot Toddy, Frosty's Root Beer, and Rex's Golden Touch.
Our Stallion, Southern Sunrise's Romeo, is sired by the great Southern Sunrise. His dam is Cassey's Golden Touch J., check her out on our mare page. She is a direct daughter of Missouri Cassey Jones. Romeo is the 2009 Open Amateur World Grand Champion Stallion and a FOUR time World Champion Stallion. Along with many more blues and titles. Romeo will stand at our farm for fall and spring breeding.
We have now added another stallion for your consideration; Sunrise's Pale Rider, a cremello. Pale Rider is a direct son of Southern Sunrise and out of Super Star's Sugar Cake. Pale Rider has a nice gait and is proving his disposition, conformation, and gait in his offspring. Please check the stallion page for more information on these fine stallions.
Our foals are out of these fantastic mares and by the very best of stallions. Our horses for sale have great bloodlines also. If our horses are supposed to be broke, they will be broke or we will not sell them to you. Experienced riders, who have ridden horses all their lives, train our horses here at Boston Mountain Fox Trotters, which are also the owners of Boston Mountain Foxtrotters. We break them in the hills and woods of the Boston Mountains.
Therefore, if you want to breed your mare, buy a good horse, or just come and look at some good horses "Ya'll come and see us".
We have trail rides all the time and an annual trail ride on Memorial Monday every year and in the fall on the 1st Saturday in October.
