Chestnut Farms does not start training on our horses before we feel their physical and emotional maturity will allow for success. Because we approach each horse’s training in an individual manner, our selection of horses varies from year to year in age and gender. Cisco is a talented, and very smooth, 15.3 H gelding. He can flat walk, trot, fox trot, running walk, and canter. He loves to work, and does best with regular riding. He has a sweet disposition, and he wants to please. He is curious, fun loving, and young at heart. I feel a confident rider would best suit him. He has a big motor, and a huge heart. We used him in field trials and trail riding. He is a fun trail horse, and might make a great endurance horse too! I have too many horses to ride, and as a result he doesn’t get worked as much as he’d like.

Lily is a beautiful 14.2 hand black mare, with no white except a small star. This mare has exceptional ground manners- sweet as can be. Lily is very responsive to leg, seat, and hand cues. If you are a sensitive rider, with an easy touch, this little mare could be just the ride you are looking for. I’ve raised Lily from birth, and will only sell her to a good home. She has Baron Bell and Kaliman in her lines. Her price will go up as her training progresses.

	Sedona is a fox trotting beauty. Already over 15 hands, she is a large filly with long legs and fantastic conformation. She is confident, bold and willing. She will mature into a truely special mare.

	Besides being a beautiful palomino, Angel is smart and willing. She picks up on training easily and is quick to accept new things. She is just under saddle, but already has an awesome walk and foxtrot.
