While we may appear as relatively new faces at
Foxtrotter events, the Cook family is not new to the Missouri Foxtrotter
breed. Albert, Sr and Donna operated Cook Stables from their home in
Peace Valley until 1989. With the 1983 Res World Grand Champion Sam's
Sweet Sue, and their breeding stallion Koscot's Bay Man they were known
by many in the breed.
Upon the launching of our own Valley View Farms in 1992,
it was always our intention to return to the Missouri Foxtrotter world,
when the time was right. We spent many years watching and learning
before finally beginning to make our way back into the breed in 2004.
We want to extend a special “THANK YOU” to those who
have done some much to help us to re-establish the Cook family in the
Missouri Foxtrotter Breed: Thompson Stables - Buck, Billiejean, Gale,
and Tanga Thompson; M&M Foxtrotters – Ritchie and Lola Moberly;
Gordon Thompson; and McCracken Stables – James, Misty, Gary, and Sarah
McCracken. All of your advice and support has been greatly appreciated!
