Born: 03/26/01 Fire is the only “Sensation X Country Frank” cross that I am aware of. He is a half brother to: (maternal side) The Legend’s First Lady, He’ll Bent N Glory Bound, The Legend’s Goodtime, The Legend’s Prime Time, (paternal) Mr. Frank Sinatra, Frank’s Ladybug, Frank’s Suekey, and many more. Fire has been started and probably has 60 days of professional show training, trail experience and has been introduced to versatility. Fire is extremely willing and pleasing animal to work with. He has been to Wilson’s Creek and on other outside trail rides and I’ve even ponied mares with him. You can ride him bareback with a halter and lead, but I have forgotten that his best trick of all is he will “bow” for a rider to get on! Since Fire stands 16’1” and I’m not 7 foot tall we decided to just meet in the middle! He’s an extremely sweet stallion that will continue to produce desired qualities (gait, shake, stride, and disposition) with the added “Hollywood” color……Chrome!
Frankly Risqué –
aka Risky Born: 05/13/03 Risky is a full sister to Mr. Frank Sinatra, Frank’s February Attitude, Frankly First Class, and Mahogany Molly Franklin. This cross was a proven show ring success! Risky followed in their hoof steps quite well, being the Reserve Open 3 Year Old Futurity Champion in 2006. With my busy schedule Risky wasn’t given the opportunity to continue showing in 2006. She was natural in the ring with drive of her own and the willing positive attitude. Risky was shown in youth and ladies classes in 2008 and 2009, she will return to the show ring from time to time. She’s just a happy laid back little mare that anyone can enjoy showing or trail riding. She’s my pick for those who need a steady mount and she’s a real confidence booster! She’s just like her brother Mr. Frank Sinatra.
Almighty Me
– aka Al Born: 04/05/05 Al is the first offspring of The Legend’s First Lady. His sire is Jazz-Mi-Tazz who now resides in Washington at Stilly River Foxtrotters. Al is a little guy with the biggest heart! Truly a charmer in his very own way! I showed Al in the 2008 Three Year Old Futurity and he did quite well for only standing at 13’2”! It’s quite difficult to compete against those doing one lap to your two or three! Al has been rode on trail rides and in the performance ring. He’s been a kid’s mount, even though he is still a stallion, for the past year. It was never a surprise to see him coming around the ring at a foxtrot or even the cutest little lope! I’m undecided on what I’m going to do with Al at this time. He will definitely make a couple of trail rides this summer and possibly a show. He has all the qualities to be in the show ring, just we lack the size, so maybe we will look towards versatility classes. Al is double registered MFTHBA and MFTPA. I am offering Al to the public as a breeding horse and as sad I say this also as a new family member for another or the right home. Many have inquired about him for a kid’s gaited pony and he definitely would enjoy it. I just would like to see what he can do in the pony association first. Although I find that I have plenty on my plate and plenty of irons in the fire!
The Devil In Disguise – aka “D” Born: 03/10/06 “D” has clydesdale shoes to fill if he wants to follow in either parents hoof steps, too bad his owner didn’t have the time to see him thru! His dam is The Legend’s First Lady and his sire is The Outlaw! He is one of the last offspring out of Outlaw and he looks just like his sire. He has ability, style, temperament, shake and gait to make the show ring. D was very close to being ready for the 2009 three year old futurity and I got sent out of town with work just prior to the show. With just a little more time D will be set in his walk and foxtrot, but by missing the three year old futurity a canter will be required for open classes. Don’t be surprised to see him slide into a ladies or amateur class here in the near future. Then maybe later we will try the three gait classes. Time will be the only factor with this little man. Time will tell…
My Time To Shine
– aka Shiner Born: 03/14/06 Shiner is the biggest shock I’ve delivered yet! His dam is Hell Bent N Glory Bound and his sire is It’s My Time, neither have spots just chrome. Where Shiner has all chrome and little color! Color doesn’t really matter though after you watch him move! He’s quite the package! He will be the first offspring out of either of these parents that I will be preparing for the show. We are shooting for the *2008 Two Year Old Futurity if the stars fall our way! Well this was our hopes for Shiner, but due to a muscle illness Shiner was not able to fulfill these hopes. Shiner still resides at Her Place and continues to build back but it has been a very slow process. I am looking to breed him here in the next year or so just to see if I can reproduce his color and ability. His illness was a great disappointment because the talent, temperament, shake and gait was all definitely there!
Loud And Proud – LP Born: LP is the only horse that resides here at Her Place that is not a fox trotter; she is a Tennessee Walking Horse. She is the last of my walking horses after I lost her sire Criminal Action, more so known as Spot, to colic after surgery at MU in Columbia, Missouri. LP was born during the Annual Show and Celebration and my mom delivered her in our absence. I had intended to have her started and see if she would as well have a show career like that of her sire, but due to numerous injuries I just broke her out for a riding horse. LP is just pretty much a pasture ornament that lets her presence be known to all!
Rose is a half sister to Vindictive, Rocking Tazzy T., and Rocking Taffey T. She is sired by It’s My Time. She stands approximately 15 hands tall, is black with star and left hind sock. She has been started but very limited riding. Has an extremely big way of going! Rose is easy to handle, and a very willing to please you type of mare. My plans are to finish her this summer and hope to hit the show ring with Rose in 2011 or 2012. She will make an excellent mount and would be an excellent broodmare to add to anyone’s herd.
