Jarrod Freeman - Rider & Owner

I had been out of riding for about a year and a half due to involvement in other things.  I than decided to start looking for a horse to ride because I wanted to start riding again.  That's when I found Prince Jester's Prowler (also know as Pete).  When I saw Pete I thought to myself, "Oh, my goodness!  I cannot believe how good this horse is and he is only a two year old."  When we went up to Jarrod Freeman's barn to look at him and immediately I thought" I want this horse".  I got to ride him tat night and when I did everything just felt so perfect; his rhythm, style, head shake, placement altogether was just so right.  After we felt the barn I was so excited because I knew that Pete was the horse for me.

When we got to the Two Year Old Futurity, I was ready to see what Pete could really do.  The first night he had shown in his class and won, I could not believe it.  Then the championship class was up the next night and he worked better than ever and it really paid off.  I was in total shock when he was announce the Amateur Owned and Trained Champion.  Right after that I knew that I did not want anyone else to have Pete but me so we bought Pete.  I knew that I had a horse with great potential and I could not wait to get started.  I would like to thank Jarrod and Bobbie Williams for all the help they gave me with Pete.  They were always there for me when I needed them and for that I am deeply grateful.

Last year was a great year!  I know this year will only be better.  I cannot wait to start riding again.  With what I learned last year and what I will learn this year, Pete and I will have a great season.
