Raisin' The Roof

Raisin’ The Roof: This is a very pretty 4 year old, Bay Gelding, sired  by the legendary, multi-world grand champion, Prince Jester.  Raisin was shown in the Youth, 11 and under class at the 2010 Show and Celebration in Ava, Missouri and took 7th place. He has been ridden extensively, and on trails, by a 10 year old girl.  See his  You Tube video  He stands at 15 hands and is as sweet and gentle as they get. Raisin is very smooth, with all the gears, on the trail.

Peace of Prince

'Prince' is a very friendly, 6 year old, sorrel gelding.  He has been successfully shown by an amateur and also extensively trail ridden, including trips out West.  He stands at 15.1 hands.  Prince has a very smooth walk and foxtrot, a very 'easy-rider' that covers alot of ground.  He is also sired by multi-world grand champion Prince Jester.

SOLD Broken Promises

'Choco' is a beautiful 15 hand, Chocolate Silver Dapple (a very rare color for Fox Trotters).  Choco is 4 years old.  As a 2 year old stallion, Choco was started and trail ridden.  He was successfully shown as a 3 year old.   Now as a 4 year old gelding, we’ve been riding him on the trail.  Choco is easy to handle, with a nice smooth fox trot and walk.

Sunrise's Gold Spike

Our first big break into “show business” came when we bought Sunrise’s Gold Spike from Larry Stevens at the 2001 Celebration Show in Ava. With Jennalee Stevens riding, Gold Spike had placed 2nd in the 2 year old Breeders Cup, and at the Celebration took Reserve Amateur 2 Year Old Stallion/Gelding World Champion. We took him home to Minnesota and rode Spike all winter, learning how to ride the Fox Trot and the show walk. Our first show with Spike was the 2002 Ava Spring Show. In their first class, Barb rode Spike and won the 3 Year Old Amateur Owned and Trained. Barb and Gold Spike went on to place or win in nearly every show they entered. The highlights of their accomplishments were the 2003 Reserve Amateur 3 Year Old Stallion/Gelding World Championship and the Out of State World Grand Championship in 2006.

Phill has also been successful riding Gold Spike, winning his first class, riding Spike in a large Men’s class at the 2003 Spring Futurity Show in Ava. Phill has also ridden Spike in the amateur canter classes and took 3rd Place in the 2006 Amateur World Grand Championship.

And most recently Nicki Ogle won the 2008 Breeders Cup Youth 12-17 Championship and the 2008 Breeders Cup Youth Championship.
