About Shady Lane Foxtrotters and how
Trigger got his name
We have been in the horse business for 20 years.
Although it began when I was about 3 years old when my dad brought home a little dappled colored Shetland pony stud colt whose name was Rex.
As a little boy, I watched Roy Rogers and Trigger a lot on T.V.
When I was 8 years old my dad bought my first Palomino for me, a little Shetland Pony stallion. From then on my love for the Palomino horse began. I
have owned some very nice Palomino stallions, but Rex's Golden Trigger is by far the best all around stallion we have ever owned.
Our Trigger's
name has a special meaning to us. The name Rex comes from the first pony I owned, and Trigger's dad who is Rex's Golden Touch. Golden comes from the rich golden color that he has. Trigger, of course,
comes from Roy Roger's original Trigger in the T.V. shows and movies, which our Trigger is marked very similar to.
