Perfection’s Copper Top B (Dusty) was born June 15,
2006 and was a poor unwanted baby. The mare didn’t want
anything to do with him. So for 3 days we had to make sure he
nursed every 2 hours. Then we switched him on to a substitute
old mare that had his 6 week old ½ brother. The mare claimed
him and raised both colts with no problem. I knew from the 1st
moment I saw Dusty we were going to do everything possible to
save him. With each passing day he kept getting better and better and
better.
Then on July 4, 2007 we put him in the hands of Johnnie Miller of Valley Springs
Foxtrotters. When we unloaded Dusty from our trailer at Valley Springs there were some visitors there that saw him come out of the
trailer and said “Man that horse looks like he needs to be in a magazine”. Johnnie said “That is exactly what we are going to try and do.”
