Clyde Connelly (one of Colleen’s brothers) and Colleen purchased a mare from Helen Edge named Bomb’s Rockaway Candy and had her bred to Zane’s Playboy.  She produced a sorrel filly named Playboy’s Annie Laurie.  Annie is another horse that became one of Clyde’s primary bloodlines.  She was a quality show mare and went on to produce 13 offspring including Missouri Maggie C and Missouri Laurel (dam to three World Grand Champions including 2006 World Grand Champion Southern Playboy).
