Bob and Colleen purchased Starlight L from Ernie and Faye Long of Liberty, Missouri.  She was a three year old mare out of Little Charley and a Golden Rebel T mare.  This was the first mare that Bob and Colleen purchased together after their marriage.  Starlight became Colleen’s horse and taught their daughters, Amy and Amber, to ride.  Amy’s Country Sunshine was out of Starlight L and Bo’s Black Magic and was sold to Bill Hinkebein of Chillicothe, Missouri, just before she turned two.  Amy’s Country Sunshine is the dam of Hickory’s Country Gold, NATRC 9 time National Champion and Hall of Fame Stallion.
