Cardinal's Parlie Annie was sired by World Champion producing stallion The Cardinal M. Her dam, Cassey’s Cathy Christine (Missouri’s Cassey Jones X Playboy’s Annie Laurie) is the only full sister to Missouri Laurel (dam of WGC Southern Playboy and other WGCs). We were shocked when the opportunity was presented to us to add Parlie Annie to our herd. A product of Clyde Connelly’s breeding program, we had admired this filly since she was born but didn’t think we would ever get an opportunity to own her.

Parlie Annie was named for MFTHBA Hall of Famer, Parlie Edge. Mr. Edge was influential in breeding, raising and showing Missouri Fox Trotters. Along with his wife, Helen, they owned horses such as Toddy’s Aunt Martha, Zane’s Playboy, Zane’s Grey Warrior, Floating Red and many more.
