Charming King’s Sassy Girl (04-81358) is sired by World
Champion Jester’s Charming King R. Charming King has produced numerous
World Grand Champions. This sire line includes foxtrot greats: Missouri’s
Charming Princess M, Traveler’s Jester, Zane’s Charming Lad, Missouri
Traveler E, Zane Grey , Bo’s April Charm, and Lady Anne.
Sassy’s dam is an own daughter of Miss America’s
Master Piece (1996 WGC Four Year Old) and out of a Sensation’s Gunsmoke
mare. Sensation’s Gunsmoke was the 1987 World Grand Champion.
Sassy was shown as a three year old. She placed 10th
in the Amateur Three Year Old Futurity Championship. She placed 6th in the
preliminary class to qualify for the championship. At the 2007 MFTHBA Show
and Celebration, she was shown in the youth classes. Sassy placed 10th in
the Youth Rider 11 & Under World Champion Mares class.
Sassy is a small mare, but she looks big when she travels
and is very stylish.
In 2009, Bob and Sassy completed his first year in the show ring. The pair consistently placed at shows in the Kansas City
area and improved throughout the year. Wilson Farms would like to thank Paula Crump for riding Sassy at the MFTHBA Show and
Celebration. Paula and Sassy placed 9th in an extremely difficult Ladies Mares class.
Bob and Sassy will again compete in 2010.
