Legend’s Tinker Toy (96-51974) was sired by The Legend M. He is a direct son of Missouri Traveler E. and 1984 World Grand Champion, Bo’s April Charm. The Legend M. was a full brother to 1993 World Grand Champion Missouri’s Charming April M and 1994 World Grand Champion Missouri’s Charming Princess M. He produced numerous World Champions prior to his early death including 1996 World Grand Champion, Pancho Villa A.

We purchased Tinker from Ritchie and Lola Moberly in January 2007. At the time she was in foal to Missouri Jazz, an own son of Southern Jazz. Typically we don’t purchase broodmares that aren’t also broke to ride, but Tinker is our one exception. We just couldn’t pass up this mare. She is beautifully built and produces great foals.

In February 2007, she produced a beautiful stud colt that we named Kansas City Jazz. Congratulations to Russ and Ann Peterson on purchasing this promising young horse. We are looking forward to seeing how he progresses.

Her 2008 filly, Playboy’s Legacy, is sired by 2006 World Grand Champion, Southern Playboy. This was an exceptional cross producing a foal with tons of potential. Tinker is back in foal to Playboy for an April 2009 foal.
