Go Boy’s Mountaineer is a decorated show horse. Born in 1980,
Mountaineer competed around Missouri in the early to mid 80s.
Mountaineer was trained and shown by Clyde Connelly. He stood at stud
for a number of year’s producing some very nice offspring. In the
early 90s, Mountaineer was gelded and came to live with us. He
demonstrated what makes Foxtrotters special. Throughout the 90s,
Mountaineer was ridden in the Wyandotte County 4-H Drill Team,
participated in parades, was a flag horse for rodeo grand entries, was
shown at the county fair and became an expert trail mount. Today,
Mountaineer is retired and will complete is life here at Wilson Farms
enjoying plenty of pasture and being thanked for years of service.
